This is the glue we use and recommend for cue retipping.Ordinary super glue tends to soak into the cue tip, and also can become a bit brittle with age, neither of which is good for a cue tip cement. This stuff is a gel which sets quickly, does not soak into the cue and does not go brittle. Use it carefully, though - it is still super glue.

Tweeten make Elkmaster cue tips, so you'd expect them to market a cement to stick their tips on with. This is a highly regarded cement, marketed as 'Ten Minute Cement'. Our experience suggests that it can take more than 10 minutes to work, depending on temperature, humidity etc, so give it a bit longer. Apply the cement to both surfaces, leave until it becomes tacky. Only then should you stick the tip to the cue, and we'd suggest leaving it to stick for 30 minutes to be safe. Can also be used to mend other materials.
