The Tournament is machine spliced with a four point rosewood butt, coloured veneer and an ash front splice.

Numerous sanding and finishing processes are undertaken to achieve a unique 'silk smooth' finish prior to the fitting of the brass ferrule, the Elkmaster tip and the traditional leather butt pad. The joint is a solid brass 'Quick Action' joint, which releases in a maximum of 1.5 turns.
