Making A Purchase
Just browse through the onlybowls.com website and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. When requested, please select extra choices, such as size or colour, before adding to the cart. Once you add an item to the cart you can change the quantity ordered to whatever you wish. Should you wish to buy a blue one and a red one, add the blue one to the cart, resume shopping, then add a red one to the cart.
You can view the contents of the cart at any time (click on the 'View cart' button), and when you are looking at the shopping cart you can remove items if you change your mind.
When you have selected all the items you wish to buy, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. During the checkout process the delivery charge (based on the weight of the items ordered) will be added. If the order value is £100 or over, delivery to the UK is free.
We accept credit card and debit card secure payment using Cardstream as our Payment Service Provider. You will be asked for your card details in the normal way. Place your order and your credit card / debit card company will pay us in pounds sterling and you will be billed in your local currency.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro, Solo.
We also allow you to pay by personal cheque or postal order. Make this payable to onlybowls.com and post it to us. We will send the goods once the cheque / postal order has cleared.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us if we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In this case we will contact you and advise you of alternatives.
Shipping and handling
Orders to UK destinations are sent either by Royal Mail first class, or by courier, or very infrequently Royal Mail standard parcels. We charge by weight, as follows:
000 - 040g 80p
041 - 100g £1.10
101 - 200g £2.20
201 - 500g £2.70
501 - 700g £3.40
701 - 999g £4.10
1001 - 1200g £5.50
1201 - 1500g £6.30
1501 - 1700g £7.20
1701 - 2000g £8.00
2001 - 15000g £10.00
15001 upwards, please enquire
There are similar scales, but with different charges, for Europe and the rest of the world, but please enquire for these for weights over 2000g.
UK orders where the value is £100 or over qualify for free shipping. European and Rest of the World orders do not qualify for free shipping.
For heavy European and RoW orders, contact us for a shipping quote.
Delivery Schedule
Once we receive your order we aim to ship it to you within two business days, for you to receive within 3 - 5 business days from the placing of your order.
If it is important for you to receive the items by a certain date - for a birthday or for a match - let us know when you place the order and we will do our best to get the goods to you in time. Equally, tell us of any anticipated problems when you place the order - if you will be away for a day or two we can delay dispatch to suit.
If we are out of stock when you place the order, but we anticipate receiving new supplies within 3 business days we would not usually contact you.
If any of the items you ordered are out of stock and we do not anticipate receiving new stocks within 3 business days we will advise you of this and tell you when we anticipate being able to dispatch your order. You can cancel your order if this happens, cancel only the items that are out of stock, or accept the back-order situation and wait for us to replenish our stock. With most of our suppliers we get a next business day delivery after we place an order with them, so we aim to keep back-order delays to a minimum.

Tax Charges
For UK and European Union orders 17.5% VAT is included in our prices. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach the Cardstream computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We at NotonlyBowls are not informed of the actual card details - these are retained by cARDSTREAM. All we are told is that payment has been made and the amount of the payment.
Guarantee
All of our products come with a 14 day no quibble guarantee. Simply return any item to us carefully and in the same condition as it was received and we will send you a full refund, or exchange the item for another as appropriate.
Please note that we do not refund post and packing charges unless we have made a mistake or supplied a faulty item.
If you have reason to believe that an item was damaged in the post, let us know, and send us a photograph of the damage if you can.
Privacy Policy
We do not disclose any information to third parties other than as part of order fulfilment, for example our couriers. We insist in such cases that the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. You can turn off cookies within your browser, but if you turn off cookies you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. If you turn off cookies, we recommend that you browse the website, make notes of the items you wish to purchase and then purchase by telephone or email or fax.
We are fully committed to protecting your privacy and we will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you when you place an order for two reasons: firstly, so that we can process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not email you in the future, other than in connection with a specific order, unless you have given us your consent to send you news, information about new products etc. To get such emails you must explicitly request them, which you can do when you place an order. The default selection is that you do *not* receive such emails.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
We do not store credit card details. Most credit card transactions are handled for us by Cardstream. They process the card details and we do not have access to those details. For card details that are processed manually, when a customer telephones through the details, we process the transaction and then shred the form that we wrote the card details on.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. Should we ever intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
