The 'Winner' style of table is a modern style with splayed legs, used for the UK leg of the Embassy World Pool Championships, which should tell you a lot about this table. It is made in England and supplied with 100% wool cloth and a solid slate bed. The normal table colours are black ash or mahogany, but in addition there are five alternate table colour options available at extra cost - see below.
The 'Prince' is a traditional style of table, made at the same factory, and normally supplied in a mahogany finish. However, the 'Prince' table can be supplied in a beech finish for an extra £180, walnut or high gloss black for an extra £300 or white for an extra £225.
The two types of table are built to the same high standards, so the choice between them is mainly on looks and what would fit in to your environment. Both styles of table are offered in a free operation mode and a coin operated mode, and we can quote for an electronic coin mechanism if you wish.
Allow 28 days for delivery if you choose one of the special table colours, otherwise allow 14 days.
If you would like a cloth colour that is not mentioned, get in touch and we will quote you.
All tables are supplied with two cues, a set of 2" Aramith reds and yellows pool balls, a triangle and some chalk - all you need to get playing.
Pool tables - vital information about delivery
All prices include vat and delivery to England, Wales and Scotland but only as far north as the Forth - Clyde valley. For any other destination we will need to quote for shipping. Delivery times cannot usually be predicted as it depends where the van is and when your drop can be accommodated into the schedule. Delivery should not take longer than 14 days for a standard table.
You must have strong help available when the table is delivered - otherwise the driver will not leave the table. These tables are heavy, and the driver will be on his own. You will need two strong men to carry the table in - the driver offers a pavement delivery only. Tables are delivered in parts and the slate bed is the heaviest part, weighing over 100kg.
We do not offer an installation service, so you will need to assemble the table yourself. The main body of the table comes complete. You will need to attach the legs, using a spanner. The cushion rails are removed by undoing some clips, allowing you to settle the slate bed into place. There is only one place it will fit, but do mind your fingers. Replace the cushion rails and re-clip them. On coin operated tables you will need to add the coin mechanism, which is done with a couple of screws. That's it; assembly is not difficult, and just needs normal DIY skills.
Because of the nature of the delivery service used, you cannot return the table except at your expense, so you must ensure before you buy that the table will fit and that there is sufficient room all round it to use cues easily. The minimum playing area for a 6ft table is 13ft x 11ft, for a 7ft table it is 15ft x 12 ft and for an 8ft table it is 16ft x 13ft. This allows room for most shots using standard length cues. Ideally, add another couple of feet in each dimension for a really unrestricted game.
Should you detect any problems with the table, contact us immediately and we will attempt to resolve any problems as soon as we can. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
