The procedure is that the carpet is rolled onto the strong centre spindle by hand as usual. This is made easier if you use our Velcro products to attach the carpet to the spindle (see below). A handling unit is inserted at each end of the spindle and the handles used to jack the carpet off the floor.The whole assembly of two units and carpet is then wheeled to the desired location where the carpet should be lowered to the floor. A carpet can be raised and moved by one person, but it is a lot easier with two or more. When putting the carpets out the units are reinserted and the carpet raised. One is soft, covered with a nylon fuzz - called the 'loop'. The other side is firmer and covered with tiny nylon hooks - called the 'hook', these catch in the loop when pressed together.
